Thomas Tsakounis, MS, LCPC
Nationally Certified, Distance Credentialed and Licensed Counselor

I hold a Master’s degree (M.S.) in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland and a second Master’s degree in Natural Health from Clayton College of Natural Health. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (L.C.P.C.), Nationally Certified Counselor (N.C.C.) & Distance Credentialed (D.C.C.). I am a professional member of the American Counseling Association (A.C.A.) and the National Board for Certified Counselors (N.B.C.C.).
I recognize the Mind, Body, & Spirit connection and believe in a holistic approach to counseling. As a Pastoral Counselor I am trained to address my client’s mental health issues, as well as a client’s spirituality as it relates to their mental health, should the client be so inclined.
I consider myself eclectic in my approach to counseling although I have been influenced by Alfred Adler thereby lending a strong Adlerian influence to my work.
I specialize in LGBTQ issues and share in the celebration and pride of being part of a diverse community. My many years of experience has allowed me to share in the story of many adolescents, individuals, couples and families and I am very comfortable working with all of those segments within LGBTQ Community.
